The 'Gold Standard' assessment tools for identifying Autism Spectrum Conditions and a diagnosis of autism are considered to be the ADOS-2 (used with the individual) and ADI-R (used with parents/carers).

Autism is a gift to the world and even more so for the individual. Although for some of us, it can be disabling; but even then, we are able to positively impact the lives of others.
If you have autism (whether it's high functioning, Asperger's Syndrome etc.), be encouraged that you are gifted in ways that neurotypicals are not.
